Chess composer of endgame studies
Ukrainian chess composer born in the environs of Poltavskaya, who settled in the Russian city of Sverdlovsk, where he exercised his profession of economist specialized in production planning.
It began in the composition of chess studies in 1950, and ten years later could be estimated that its production was of about 50 artworks, many of which were awarded and distinguished in local competitions, where it reached no less than six first prizes.
His composition style
Babich worked with varied themes of chess composition and often with old ideas, seeking to continuously improve them in form, while trying to enrich them with novel contributions of his inventiveness. His style of composer can be considered that this within the classic tradition of the study of chess.
